KAI's TJSL Receives the 2022 ICSB Presidential Award

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) received the 2022 ICSB Presidential Award, which was conferred during the Jakarta Marketing Week event on Friday (20/5).

The award was presented as an appreciation for the performance of government institutions and corporations that have made extraordinary contributions to the development of businesses owned by small and medium entrepreneurs.

KAI consistently rolls out various Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs, particularly in terms of MSME development in Indonesia.

Most recently, KAI featured its Fostered Partners in the exhibition "The 22nd Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (Inacraft) 2022" held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).

Furthermore, KAI also runs a BNSP Brand Operation Certification program for KAI's Fostered MSME Partners.

The MSME On Station And Train program provides an opportunity for KAI's Partners to promote and sell their products on board trains through a Digital Catalog, allowing passengers on the train to browse the products of KAI's Partners.

Around the station environment, KAI offers opportunities for KAI's Partners to promote and sell their products, thereby providing various conveniences to train passengers.

ICSB President Jacky Mussry stated that the ICSB Presidential Awards have been held since 2016. Due to the pandemic (COVID-19) that has been ongoing for the past two years, the 2022 ICSB Presidential Award will specifically be granted only to governments, corporations, and a few business individuals.

The Indonesia Council for Small Business (ICSB) is a non-profit organization actively empowering SME players in Indonesia. This organization has been active since 2015 under the initiative of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs along with the Chairman of MarkPlus, Inc., Hermawan Kartajaya.

"Through this activity, it is expected to strengthen the motivation of all parties to consistently contribute to the advancement of Indonesian SMEs and Indonesia's economic competitiveness," he expressed.
