
Supporting MSMEs and Local Communities, KAI Daop 2 Provides Rp164.7 Million in Assistance
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), through the Environmental and Social Responsibility (TJSL) Team of Operational Area 2 (Daop 2) Bandung, distributed assistance under its Community Development Program and Partnership Program on Wednesday (17/11).
The assistance was officially handed over at the Coordination Meeting Room of the Daop 2 Bandung Office, with a total value of Rp164,676,000. The support consisted of assistance for places of worship and business capital loans.
The assistance for places of worship included Rp7,500,000 for Al-Barokah Jami Mosque in Rancaekek Kencana Village, Rancaekek District, Bandung Regency; Rp20,000,000 for Al-Barokah Jami Mosque in Majalaya Village, Majalaya District, Bandung Regency; and Rp22,176,000 for Miftahussalam Mosque in Arjuna Subdistrict, Cicendo District, Bandung City.
Under the Partnership Program, assistance was provided to Aisha Muslimah Wear, a hijab business located in Pasirlayung Subdistrict, Cibeunying Kidul District, Bandung City, amounting to Rp15,000,000. Another Rp100,000,000 was provided to HIRKA, a footwear manufacturing and leather handicraft retail business located in Cigereleng Subdistrict, Regol District, Bandung City.
The assistance was symbolically presented by Daop 2 Executive Vice President Bambang Respationo to representatives of the recipients of the TJSL Community Development and Partnership Programs.
In his remarks, Bambang stated that KAI, particularly Daop 2 Bandung, remains committed to demonstrating its concern for communities surrounding the company's operational areas through various Environmental and Social Responsibility (TJSL) programs.
He added that KAI Daop 2 Bandung also continues to support the growth and development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across West Java Province. (Public Relations KAI)
