The operation of these nine additional trains is part of an effort to provide travel services that better match public needs. Various routes are available, both for journeys to Jakarta and for trips back to several cities across Java.
The additional services cover the Malang–Gambir, Solo–Gambir, Gambir–Solo, Yogyakarta–Gambir, Gambir–Yogyakarta, Semarang Tawang–Gambir, Gambir–Semarang Tawang, Gambir–Surabaya Pasarturi, and Surabaya Pasarturi–Gambir routes.
KAI continues to monitor public travel needs and prepare services by taking operational conditions in the field into consideration. Operational readiness, the availability of railway facilities, and travel safety are among the key considerations in operating these additional trips.

2. Additional Solo–Gambir Train, Solo–Gambir route, departing at 5:20 p.m. WIB.
3. Additional Gambir–Solo Train, Gambir–Solo route, departing at 7:10 a.m. WIB.
4. Additional Yogyakarta–Gambir Train, Yogyakarta–Gambir route, departing at 10:00 p.m. WIB.
