Welcoming Remarks by KAI Commercial Director Hadis Surya Palapa at a Press Conference at Gambir Station, Friday (9/9)
KAI Commercial Director Hadis Surya Palapa stated that with the spirit of developing better and sustainable railway services for customers, KAI is currently opening opportunities for every company to participate and collaborate in the Exclusive Naming Rights program.
“We are confident this program will be attractive to any company, as KAI serves hundreds of millions of passengers every year. This program is a KAI innovation in terms of revenue optimization through the commercialization of company assets,” said Hadis.
Through the Exclusive Naming Rights program, the partner's brand name will later be applied in various audio and visual mentions across different media such as signage, wayfinding, route maps, announcements, and various other publications related to the station. It is expected that through this program, KAI and prospective partners can establish productive and sustainable cooperation, thereby boosting both the reputation and business sustainability of both companies.
To provide further details regarding the Exclusive Naming Rights offer, KAI will hold an Exclusive Marketing Gathering for prospective partners on September 20, 2022, at the Mulia Hotel, Jakarta. This event is also conducted in the framework of KAI's 77th Anniversary with the theme 'Rise Faster, Serve Better'. For more information, KAI will open an information center located on the Ground Floor of Gambir Station for any interested companies.
The station naming rights offer is a form of KAI's innovation in optimizing company assets. In terms of commercializing all existing assets in Java and Sumatra, KAI carries out various collaborations utilizing station assets, rolling stock, right of way, non-right of way, and museums. The collaborations include space leasing, warehousing, utility installations, offices, advertising, and others.
“KAI is open to conducting various collaborations with partners in utilizing KAI's assets. Apart from revenue from passenger and freight transport, KAI will optimize the company's many potential assets to be commercialized so as to improve KAI's overall services,” concluded Hadis.
