The face of railway stations today is far different from a decade ago. In addition to maintained cleanliness, various facilities are presented to make railway customers increasingly comfortable while being at the station and waiting for their train departure schedule. KAI is committed to continuing to provide faster and better services for customers, one of which is by providing a variety of facilities at stations, tailored to customer needs, including the following:

Customer Service on Station
Customer Service on Station (CSOS) officers will receive and help handle your various complaints and questions at the station. If the complaint can be resolved by the CSOS officer, then the case will be closed/finished. It is different if the complaint requires further handling, then the CSOS officer will forward the customer's complaint report or question to the Customer Relation Contact Center 121 team through the Customer Relation Management application with an open complaint status. Of course, every incoming complaint will be followed up quickly, responsively, and measurably.
Need something practical? Do not worry, the Contact Center 121 Team is ready to provide services to answer various questions and complaints submitted so that your train riding experience becomes increasingly pleasant through social media channels Twitter and Facebook @KAI121, Instagram and Tiktok @kai121_, email: [email protected], or via phone at 121 and WhatsApp at 08111-2111-121.

Health Services
Station facilities that you can get if you become a train passenger are the provision of health services. Regarding injuries, whether minor or serious, they certainly require fast and appropriate handling. Instead of looking for medicine at pharmacies outside the station or directly visiting a hospital, you can get first aid at this health service.

Lost and Found
KAI provides Lost and Found services for customers who experience lost items or leave them behind while in the station environment or during a journey by train. Customers can report the lost items to officers at the station, or the conductor on duty inside the train, as well as through the KAI Contact Center 121.

Clean Toilets
KAI provides clean and comfortable toilets as a form of KAI's service down to the details to maintain customer satisfaction. Officers also routinely perform mobile cleaning and inspection every day to ensure the toilet area remains clean, dry (not slippery), fragrant, and has no standing water. Well, these toilet facilities are provided for free, so let's protect them by maintaining their cleanliness and not littering.

Lactation Room
KAI has also provided a lactation room for mothers carrying babies or toddlers at the station. The provision of this room is to provide privacy for mothers while breastfeeding. Up to this August 2022, KAI has 118 lactation rooms spread across stations in Java and Sumatra islands. The facilities in this room are quite complete, such as a sofa, cabinet, sink, and air conditioner that will provide cool air for babies and toddlers.

Mosque/Musala
For Muslims, the five-daily prayers are an obligation that must be performed every day. KAI provides a Mosque/Musala in the railway station area so that all customers and the surrounding community can perform the prayer comfortably and peacefully.
“We provide these various facilities as a form of KAI's commitment to continuously remain adaptive in meeting the increasing needs of customers so they can enjoy their time while at the station waiting for train departures or upon arrival more comfortably. We hope public interest in using the train as public transportation increases, so that in the end it can reduce the burden on roads and become one of the solutions to untangle traffic jams due to the use of private vehicles,” said Joni Martinus, VP PR KAI.
KAI strives to continue innovating and making various improvements to produce excellent service for its service users amidst the struggle to rise during the pandemic period.
