The 2026 Eid holiday season is approaching. Through its H-45 booking scheme, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) (KAI) is opening train ticket sales in stages, allowing customers who make reservations on 25 January 2026 to plan their journeys for departures starting 11 March 2026.

KAI Vice President of Corporate Communication Anne Purba said the policy is part of the company’s strategy to manage the expected surge in passenger mobility in a more orderly and well-planned manner.

"With the H-45 booking system, customers have sufficient time to plan their journeys. It also helps KAI distribute passenger traffic more evenly during the Eid Transportation period," Anne said.

Ticket sales are being opened gradually according to each departure date.

Anne encouraged the public to purchase tickets only through KAI’s official sales channels, including the Access by KAI application, the booking.kai.id website, KAI Contact Center 121, authorized sales partners, and online travel agents that officially cooperate with KAI.

"We encourage the public to always purchase tickets through official channels to avoid the risk of fraud and unnecessary additional charges," Anne concluded.
