PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) temporarily suspended the operation of Commuter Line Airport Train 806A following a collision between the train and a truck at the Poris–Batu Ceper level crossing on Friday at approximately 06:05 WIB.

According to KAI Vice President of Corporate Communication Anne Purba, the temporary suspension was implemented as a safety measure and to accelerate infrastructure recovery so that the railway line could be declared safe for operation.

"Safety remains our top priority. All passengers were evacuated safely, and there were no casualties in this incident," she said.

As part of the safety measures and recovery efforts, Anne explained that Airport Commuter Line services were temporarily suspended until infrastructure repairs were completed and the line was declared safe for operation. KAI has mobilized all available resources to expedite the restoration process so that services can gradually resume.

Since the morning, KAI has coordinated with various stakeholders, including law enforcement authorities, such as the police, and local government agencies, to ensure that the incident response and site security are carried out in an orderly manner and in accordance with applicable regulations.

KAI is targeting the gradual restoration of one railway track starting at approximately 14:30 WIB, while continuing to prioritize safety.

"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Recovery efforts are being carried out intensively so that services can return to normal as soon as possible," Anne said.

Regarding the incident, KAI will pursue legal action in accordance with applicable laws and regulations as part of its commitment to maintaining railway operational safety and improving public discipline at level crossings.
