KAI Launches Ramadan Festive: Homecoming Travel Promotion with 30% Discount and Flash Sale Tickets Starting from Rp150,000
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) (KAI) is offering a 30 percent discount on train tickets for the 2026 Eid homecoming season.
KAI Vice President of Corporate Communication Anne Purba said that the promotion, offered through the Ramadan Festive program, provides an opportunity for the public to plan their journeys at more affordable fares while also accessing various travel-related information ahead of the Eid travel period.
"Through Ramadan Festive, we aim to give the public the opportunity to purchase train tickets at more affordable fares while also creating closer engagement through various digital programs that customers can participate in," Anne said in an official statement on Sunday (8 March 2026).
She further explained that the 30 percent ticket discount is available exclusively for ticket purchases starting on Monday (9 March 2026).
The discounted fares apply to departures between 9–20 March 2026, subject to limited ticket availability.
In addition, KAI is also offering a Flash Sale for 2026 Eid homecoming train tickets. The promotion is available exclusively through the Access by KAI application on 9 March 2026, from 16:30 to 17:30 WIB, and is valid for travel during the 9–20 March 2026 period.
For train services operated by KAI Wisata, including Priority, Imperial, and Panoramic services, the Flash Sale fares apply to departures between 11–20 March 2026.
The Flash Sale ticket prices are as follows:
- Economy Class: starting from Rp150,000
- Executive Class: starting from Rp300,000
- Panoramic Class: starting from Rp600,000
Please note that both the Flash Sale fares and the 30 percent discount do not apply to Luxury and Compartment train services, and cannot be combined with fare reductions or other promotional programs.
Tickets purchased under these promotional fares may still be canceled or rescheduled in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.
Information regarding the list of eligible train services and complete promotional details is available through the Access by KAI application. The promotions remain valid while the allocated promotional tickets and discounted fares are still available.
"Through the Ramadan Festive program, KAI hopes to make it easier for the public to plan their journeys and enjoy a comfortable train travel experience throughout the month of Ramadan," Anne added.
