KAI Urges Public to Await Official NTSC Investigation Results
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) continues to cooperate with and support all ongoing investigation and response processes regarding the incident at Eastern Bekasi Station on April 27.
During the Information Post period, which remains operational until May 11, 2026, KAI has also continually received updates regarding the investigation process conducted by the National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) and the Police, as well as monitoring various dynamics of information circulating in the public sphere post-incident.
KAI Vice President of Corporate Communication Anne Purba stated that KAI understands the high level of public attention and the numerous questions surrounding this event. Nevertheless, all parties need to allow sufficient space for the official investigation process to proceed objectively, thoroughly, and based on verifiable data.
"This incident naturally draws significant attention and questions from the public. However, we invite all parties to await the official investigation results from KNKT and the relevant authorities, ensuring that information in circulation remains grounded in facts and objective findings," said Anne.
Anne added that KAI will continue to support all processes conducted by the authorities while maintaining safety measures and enforcing rules at level crossings in accordance with prevailing regulations.
KAI also maintains coordination with all relevant parties until official investigation results are formally delivered by the competent authorities.
