The incident in the Eastern Bekasi Station area has brought deep sorrow. PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) conveys its heartfelt condolences to all affected families, while ensuring that ongoing support continues to be provided throughout every stage of handling the situation.

As part of this commitment, KAI President Director Bobby Rasyidin visited the families in person to express condolences and listen to their needs.

During the visit, Bobby stated that KAI is providing educational support through an Education Insurance program to one of the children of the deceased victim.

"In this difficult situation, we want the family to feel supported. For one of the children of the deceased victim, KAI is providing an education guarantee through the Education Insurance program so they can continue their schooling well," said Bobby.

This support forms part of the recovery process focused on the family, both in the short term and to safeguard their future well-being.

Additionally, KAI continues to provide assistance to families and customers through the information post that remains operational in Eastern Bekasi, alongside follow-up services to assist with information, administrative needs, and the recovery process.

KAI Vice President of Corporate Communication Anne Purba stated that under these circumstances, the company's primary focus is ensuring that every family and customer receives comprehensive support.

"We understand that recovery encompasses both physical and psychological conditions. Therefore, KAI continues to facilitate assistance, including trauma healing services, so that families and customers can navigate this period with greater peace of mind," said Anne.

KAI emphasizes that the main priority at present is supporting the families while ensuring services continue to run smoothly, allowing the public to travel safely and comfortably.

"We express our deep sorrow and sincere apologies to the affected families and customers. KAI will continue to provide support throughout every step of the process," Anne concluded.
