
East Bekasi Station Resumes Passenger Services, Bekasi–Cikarang Commuter Line Trains Operating Normally
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) stated that East Bekasi Station now serves KRL passengers once again. This follows the operational trials that have been carried out and run smoothly.
Following various stages of these trials, KRL travel on the Bekasi–Cikarang route has resumed operations starting at 14.00. KAI ensures that all stages of service recovery are carried out gradually, measuredly, and by prioritizing the principle of carefulness.
KAI emphasizes that the safety aspect is the top priority in every handling and operational recovery process. The entire process has undergone thorough inspections to ensure the safety and security of train travel as well as the comfort of service users.
"KAI is committed to always prioritizing safety in every operation. The reopening of services at East Bekasi Station is carried out after ensuring that all safety aspects are fulfilled," said Anne Purba, KAI Vice President of Corporate Communication.
With the resumption of operations at East Bekasi Station and the normalization of KRL travel on the Bekasi–Cikarang route, it is hoped that community mobility can run smoothly again, especially for KRL users in the Bekasi, Cikarang, and surrounding areas.
