PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) continues to strengthen synergy with various stakeholders to support the optimization of asset management and the development of rail transportation services for the public. This commitment was reflected in a meeting between the President Director of PT KAI, Bobby Rasyidin, and the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia, ST Burhanuddin, at the Attorney General's Office on Monday (March 9).

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the two institutions, particularly regarding the optimal utilization and management of PT KAI's assets, as well as supporting various railway service development programs.

During the discussion, the Attorney General's Office expressed support for KAI's strategic steps to enhance corporate asset governance, including the consolidation or separation of State Property (BMN) assets and KAI-owned assets, as well as improving rail transportation service quality.

Furthermore, both parties discussed opportunities for railway sector development, including plans to reactivate previously operational rail lines to expand connectivity and enhance public transport services.

KAI and the Attorney General's Office also agreed to extend their existing partnership with a broader scope. The cooperation covers asset management assistance, legal aid in civil and administrative law (Datun), and the provision of legal opinions to KAI to support corporate and organizational development.

President Director of KAI, Bobby Rasyidin, stated that the synergy between KAI and the Attorney General's Office represents a crucial step toward strengthening corporate governance while supporting sustainable railway service development.

"This collaboration is a form of synergy between government institutions and state-owned enterprises to mutually support the execution of their respective duties and functions. With support from the Attorney General's Office, KAI can manage corporate assets more optimally while ensuring every corporate expansion step aligns with applicable legal regulations," said Bobby.

Bobby added that this collaboration is also expected to enhance coordination effectiveness between the two institutions and deliver added value in managing state assets and improving rail transport services for the public.

Through this partnership, KAI remains optimistic about continuing to deliver reliable, safe, and sustainable transportation services while supporting the development of the national railway sector.
