KAI Launches Ramadan Festive: 30% Discount on Eid Homecoming Train Travel
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has launched its Ramadan Festive program, offering a series of train travel promotions for the public throughout the month of Ramadan 2026. The program features a 30 percent Eid Homecoming Promotion, a Flash Sale offering special train ticket fares, and the "Ngobrol Asik" digital activation, which will be broadcast live through KAI's social media channels.
KAI Vice President of Corporate Communication Anne Purba stated that Ramadan Festive provides an opportunity for the public to plan their journeys at more affordable fares while also gaining useful information about train travel ahead of the Eid homecoming period.
"Through Ramadan Festive, we aim to provide the public with the opportunity to purchase train tickets at more affordable fares while also creating closer engagement through various digital programs that customers can enjoy," said Anne.
Under the Eid Homecoming Promotion, customers can enjoy a 30 percent discount on ticket purchases starting from 9 March 2026. The discounted fares are valid for departures between 9 and 20 March 2026, subject to limited ticket availability.
KAI is also introducing a Flash Sale featuring special flat rate fares. Through this program, customers can purchase train tickets for Rp150,000 in Economy Class, Rp300,000 in Executive Class, and Rp600,000 for Panoramic service.
The Flash Sale is available exclusively through the Access by KAI application on 9 March 2026 from 16:30 to 17:30 WIB and is valid for travel between 9 and 20 March 2026. Meanwhile, promotional fares for train services managed by KAI Wisata, including Priority, Imperial, and Panoramic services, apply to departures from 11 to 20 March 2026.
As part of the Ramadan Festive program, KAI will also present the "Ngobrol Asik" live session on its social media platforms. The event will feature actor Lora Kadam Sidik with Bunny Asfian as host and will take place on Monday, 9 March 2026, from 16:00 to 18:00 WIB via the @KAI121 Instagram and TikTok accounts, as well as @kadamsidik00.
The "Ngobrol Asik" session is part of the Ramadan Festive activation leading up to the Flash Sale. Through this event, KAI invites the public to join a casual discussion about train travel experiences, share Ramadan stories, and receive information about the ongoing ticket promotions.
KAI also reminds customers that the promotional fares do not apply to Luxury and Compartment train services and cannot be combined with fare reductions or other discount programs. Tickets purchased under the promotional fares may still be canceled or rescheduled in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.
Information regarding the list of eligible train services and detailed promotional terms is available through the Access by KAI application. The promotion is valid while the ticket allocation and discounted fares remain available.
"Through the Ramadan Festive program, KAI hopes the public can plan their journeys more easily while enjoying comfortable train travel throughout the month of Ramadan," Anne concluded.
