Vice President of Corporate Communication KAI Anne Purba stated that public interest has shown a positive trend ahead of the Eid period. KAI continues to monitor sales developments to maintain a balance between transport capacity, operational safety, and travel comfort.

“For customers who have not yet obtained tickets for their preferred routes, they are advised to consider alternative departure dates, either earlier or after the planned date,” said Anne.

The connecting train option can also be utilized to reach destination cities through a combination of available journeys.

The Government is also providing a 30 percent fare incentive for journeys from March 14 to March 29, 2026, as part of a strategy to maintain public purchasing power and manage national mobility. In response to this policy, KAI is carrying out the 2026 Eid Transportation assignment with a focus on facility readiness, smooth operations, and support for public transportation policies.

Anne also encouraged the public to purchase tickets through official channels, namely the Access by KAI application, the kai.id website, and sales partners that have collaborated with the company, to ensure transaction security and ease of service before departure.
