Vice President of Corporate Communication KAI Anne Purba stated that during its first four days of operation, Jatake Station served a total of 2,809 gate-in passengers and 2,207 gate-out passengers. These figures reflect the strong public interest in the new transportation hub in the western part of Tangerang Regency.

The number of passengers showed a steady upward trend from day to day. On 28 January, the station recorded 281 gate-in passengers. This increased to 713 passengers on 29 January, rose further to 773 passengers on 30 January, and reached 1,042 gate-in passengers on 31 January. The increase demonstrates a rapid adaptation process as residents began incorporating Jatake Station into their daily travel routines.

During the same period, nearby stations continued to handle significant passenger volumes. Cicayur Station recorded 9,848 gate-in passengers and 11,447 gate-out passengers, while Parung Panjang Station served 44,000 gate-in passengers and 52,520 gate-out passengers. These figures indicate that Jatake Station functions as an additional travel access point that complements services along the corridor.

Anne added that the opening of Jatake Station aligns with the population growth and increasing economic activity in Tangerang Regency. According to data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS), the area is among the regions with high commuter mobility, particularly those connected to major activity centers across Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek), creating a growing need for public transportation that is both accessible and efficient.

From a regional planning perspective, Jatake Station serves as a link between residential areas, economic activity centers, and the existing Commuter Line network. The station enables residents to better plan their travel time while providing a more convenient access point than surrounding existing stations.

"We are seeing Jatake Station beginning to shape new travel patterns for the community. Going forward, we expect the station to continue growing alongside increased activity in the area and the public's expanding use of public transportation," said Anne.

With the support of collaboration among various stakeholders and active public participation, Jatake Station is expected to become an integral part of an increasingly connected urban transportation system that remains relevant to the evolving needs of the community.
