Blocks F and G Mark the First Step in Developing Comfortable Homes at TOD Manggarai
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) is preparing Blocks F and G as the first step in developing the Manggarai Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) area in South Jakarta. The two areas are planned to feature residential developments that connect directly to public transportation networks while providing easy access to various community activities.
Block F covers approximately 15,014 square meters, while Block G spans around 6,925 square meters. Combined, the development area covers approximately 21,939 square meters, or 2.19 hectares.
The development plan will feature 1,232 residential units in Types 28, 36, and 45. The area will also include retail spaces to support residents’ everyday needs and activities.
A key attraction of the Manggarai TOD development is its integration with public transportation. With direct connectivity to the station, residents will have more convenient access to public transportation for their daily mobility.
The initial development of Blocks F and G is scheduled to officially begin with a groundbreaking ceremony on August 21, 2026.
Meanwhile, KAI is continuing to develop the Master Plan and Urban Design Guidelines (Panduan Rancang Kota/PRK) for the Manggarai Transit-Oriented Development Area. The planning process is part of the broader development strategy to create an integrated environment where housing, transportation, connectivity, and community activities can grow together.
Through the development of Blocks F and G, KAI is taking its first step toward creating a residential concept that offers more than just a place to live, combining comfortable housing with convenient access and connectivity within one integrated area.
