KAI Brings Maximum Holiday Vibes for Christmas and New Year 2024

This year, KAI is here to make your holiday even more special. From December 19, 2024 to January 5, 2025, KAI will accompany your travels for a full 18-day holiday period. From safety to comfort, everything has been prepared to ensure a smooth and stress-free journey.

For added comfort, KAI is offering an exclusive service during the Nataru period: the KA Java Priority, providing a premium travel experience on the Gambir–Yogyakarta route. This train will operate from December 19, 2024 to January 5, 2025, with the following schedule:

From Gambir: Depart at 12.45 WIB, arrive in Yogyakarta at 20.25 WIB
From Yogyakarta: Depart at 23.40 WIB, arrive in Gambir at 07.10 WIB

Not only that, to ensure smooth service at stations, KAI will deploy 170 Mobile Customer Service (CSM) staff across 39 stations. So if you need help, just ask—super convenient, right? There will also be 145 additional cleaning staff at stations, making waiting areas more comfortable, along with 198 On-Train Cleaning (OTC) personnel ready to keep your journey clean and pleasant.

In total, KAI is preparing 44,754,280 seats for rail travel during the period of December 19, 2024 to January 5, 2025. Worried about tickets selling out? No need—KAI will also operate 56 additional trains to accommodate holiday travel demand.
