1. Pay Attention to the Shipping Schedule
For the 2023 Eid holiday period, KALOG Express freight services will be closed from 19–25 April 2023. Therefore, the last shipping date before the holiday is 15 April 2023.
"If customers want their package to arrive on the same day, we recommend sending it one day before the passenger train's departure schedule. Customers can also check shipping rates and track their shipments through the KAI Access application," said KAI Vice President of Public Relations, Joni Martinus.
2. Shipping Requirements
Customers who wish to use KAI Logistik's pet transportation service must meet the following requirements:
Ensure the pet is in good health before shipment.
The pet must be placed in a sturdy cage that is appropriate for its size and species.
Owners must provide sufficient food and drinking water inside the cage.
A health certificate from a licensed veterinarian confirming the pet is healthy is recommended.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping costs depend on the origin and destination cities.
As a reference, shipping a pet from Jakarta to Yogyakarta costs Rp100,000 for the first 1–10 kilograms. Additional charges apply for every extra kilogram, depending on the destination city.
"This pet delivery service operates as a Station-to-Station Service, meaning shipments are sent from and collected directly at KALOG Express offices according to their operating schedules," Joni explained.
Customers are encouraged to ensure all requirements have been fulfilled and that pets or other shipments are securely packed before delivery.
