KAI Launches Trip & Win Program to Encourage More People to Travel by Train
To encourage more people to travel by train during the Eid holiday season, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has launched the second phase of its Trip & Win program with the tagline "Ride The Train and Win A Relaxing Staycation for Your Next Adventure" for the April–June 2023 period. Customers have the opportunity to win hotel stay vouchers at Batiqa Hotels in Jakarta, Bekasi, Karawang, Cirebon, or Surabaya.
"We are bringing back the Trip & Win program to encourage more people to use public rail transportation. KAI hopes customers will continue to choose train travel because it is safe, comfortable, and healthy," said KAI Vice President of Public Relations, Joni Martinus.
Customers are eligible to participate in the Trip & Win lucky draw if they travel on or purchase tickets through the KAI Access application for Argo Cheribon, Tegal Bahari, Gumarang, or Matarmaja train services at least 12 times during the period from 1 April to 30 June 2023.
KAI will select five winners, who will be announced and mentioned through the official KAI121 social media channels after 30 June 2023. The program does not apply to infant reduction tickets, KAI Group employees and their families, or retirees.
"Through the Trip & Win program, we hope to increase public interest in traveling by train and encourage more customers to make their ticket purchases through the KAI Access application," Joni added.

Customers who are not selected as winners can still enjoy a 15% discount on stays at Batiqa Hotels in Jakarta, Bekasi, Karawang, Cirebon, and Surabaya. To receive the discount, customers simply need to present proof of travel (boarding pass or e-boarding pass) for a commercial Long-Distance Train journey (excluding government-subsidized train services). The offer is valid for up to seven days after the travel date.
The 15% hotel discount is available for bookings made through walk-in reservations, the batiqa.com website, telephone, or email. The promotion is not valid during peak holiday periods, including Eid, Christmas, and New Year.
