KAI Offers Up to 20% Ticket Discount for Departures on 14

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) launched its 2023 Eid Travel Discount program by offering train ticket discounts of up to 20% for departures between 14 and 17 April 2023. A total of 31,300 discounted tickets are available for Executive, Business, and Economy Class Long-Distance Train services.

Customers can purchase these discounted tickets from 9 to 13 April 2023, with 6,260 discounted tickets released each day. Tickets are available through the KAI Access application, the official kai.id website, and all official KAI ticket sales partners.

KAI Vice President of Public Relations, Joni Martinus, said the 2023 Eid Travel Discount program aims to encourage passengers to choose alternative departure dates for their homecoming journeys. This helps distribute passenger traffic more evenly instead of concentrating travel on the days immediately before Eid.

"This ticket discount program also supports the Ministry of Transportation's campaign encouraging the public to travel home earlier, helping reduce congestion during the peak Eid travel period," Joni said.

Several train services included in the 2023 Eid Travel Discount program include:

Argo Bromo Anggrek (Gambir – Surabaya Pasarturi round trip)
Argo Lawu (Gambir – Solo Balapan round trip)
Pasundan (Kiaracondong – Surabaya Gubeng round trip)
Bogowonto (Pasar Senen – Lempuyangan round trip)
And many other selected Long-Distance Train services.
