Eid Train Tickets Can Be Booked Starting February 26, 2023 News

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) will open train ticket sales for the 1444 H Eid Transportation period starting Sunday (26/2). Ticket reservations can be made through the KAI Access application, the kai.id website, and all other official KAI ticket sales channels.

Specifically for this year's Eid Transportation ticket sales, KAI is implementing a policy that allows tickets to be sold starting 45 days before departure (H-45). Therefore, starting from February 26, 2023, customers can purchase tickets for departures on April 12, 2023. Under normal conditions outside the Eid Transportation period, KAI applies a policy where Long-Distance Train tickets are sold starting 30 days before departure (H-30).

KAI Vice President of Public Relations, Joni Martinus, said that this change was made to further improve services and provide the public with greater opportunities to plan their train journeys during the Eid Transportation period.

KAI reminds prospective customers to carefully enter their travel date, route, and personal information when making reservations. Plan your journey carefully, including estimating travel time to the station. Make sure to avoid mistakes that could prevent you from traveling home for Eid.

In preparation for the Eid Transportation period, KAI will carry out various readiness measures involving rolling stock, infrastructure, and human resources.

KAI, together with all stakeholders, will conduct Ramp Check activities or Minimum Service Standard safety inspections across all railway operation areas. KAI personnel will also continue to be prepared to ensure the safety and security of train operations.
