Penyerahan Laporan Hasil Pemeriksaan atas Pelaksanaan PSO Bidang Angkutan Kereta Api Pelayanan Kelas Ekonomi Tahun 2021 dan Entry Meeting Pemeriksaan Kinerja Pendahuluan Integrasi Antarmoda pada PT KAI (Persero) oleh Pimpinan VII BPK RI Hendra Susanto kepada Direktur Utama PT KAI (Persero) Didiek Hartantyo di Auditorium Kantor Pusat PT KAI, Kamis (29/07).
Handover of the Audit Result Report on the Implementation of PSO in Economy Class Train Transport Services for 2021 and the Entry Meeting for the Preliminary Performance Audit of Intermodal Integration at PT KAI (Persero) by Board Member VII of BPK RI Hendra Susanto to the President Director of PT KAI (Persero) Didiek Hartantyo at the Auditorium of PT KAI Head Office, Thursday (29/07).

The event was attended by KAI President Director Didiek Hartantyo, KAI President Commissioner who is also Independent Commissioner Said Aqil Siroj along with the management line-up, and Board Member VII of BPK RI Hendra Susanto along with the BPK audit team.

At the event, BPK issued the Audit Result Report stating that PT KAI estimated the Public Service Obligation funds well, in line with the billing execution of the Public Service Obligation for Economy Class Train Transport Services in 2021, with an internal control system carried out in accordance with applicable regulations in all material respects.

Through the Audit Result Report, BPK RI provided recommendations to KAI regarding the implementation of the Public Service Obligation, which was assessed to be in accordance with applicable regulations. BPK RI also appreciated and supported the follow-up actions taken by KAI regarding Public Service Obligation concerns.

Didiek Hartantyo, as the President Director of KAI, expressed his gratitude to the leadership and ranks of BPK who have supported and provided recommendations to KAI based on the audit conducted. These recommendations and support will be beneficial for KAI in making sustainable improvements, particularly for the execution of future Public Service Obligation assignments.

“All of us at KAI are guided by the company's core values mandated by the Ministry of SOEs, namely AKHLAK. 'Amanah' (Trustworthy) as one of the core values means firmly holding onto the trust given, which has a strong relevance in the context of executing the PSO assignment granted by the Government, in this case, the Ministry of Transportation, down to following up on the recommendations from the Audit Result Report (LHP) issued by BPK RI,” Didiek emphasized.

KAI's follow-up can be seen in Economy class train services, by providing free healthy kits containing antiseptic wipes and KF95 masks to medium and long-distance train customers. This correlates with KAI's actions in preventing the Corona virus during the Covid-19 pandemic, where KAI always prioritized health protocols according to government directives.

The event concluded with the Kick-Off entry meeting for the Preliminary Audit on Intermodal Integration Performance for Fiscal Year 2022 up to Semester I 2022. KAI and BPK will continue to cooperate to support KAI's vision of becoming the best transportation solution for the Indonesian people, which is aligned with national development strategy policies.
